Export to Excel from Interactive Reports

Now it is possible to correct export results of Interactive reports to Excel, with correct displaying of strings, number and dates. Excel - export has never been so cool and simple. 

The "GPV Interactive Report to Excel" APEX plugin support now this main features:
•    Correct export of data types (String/Date/Number)
•    Filtering and Sorting
•    Control Break
•    Computations
•    Aggregations
•    Highlighting
•    Auto adjustable Column Width
•    Date/Number Formats
•    Custom downloaded file name (see FAQ)
•    Can be easy implemented for all Interactive reports in application (see FAQ) 

+  New!  Support of substituion variables into SQL-querie of Interactive Report.

This new feature allows you to use different WHERE - clauses with BIND-varables within. See my post that describe use-cases.

    Hi Pavel! Is it necessary to install a standard excel export first? And how do I get the Excel download icon in the IR Action / download bar?

    Hi Patrick! Thanks for using this plugin!
    No, you can use this plugin without standard excel export.
    Unfortunately Excel download icon in the IR Action Menu don't work in APEX 5. You can use Custom download button instead (see page 11 Instructions.pdf)

    Hi pavel,

    I want to use your plugin and for this i follow/control all seconds of your video in youtube for the latest version, but i had this error:

    Error in PLSQL code raised during plug-in processing.

    ORA-06550: line 4, column 55: PLS-00201: identifier 'IR_TO_MSEXCEL.RENDER' must be declared ORA-06550: line 4, column 1: PL/SQL: Statement ignored


    What i have to do? please help me if possible.

    First please check that you use newest version. Second check that all plugin-packages are installed into the same schema that your application schema.

    I am using this plugin in my application. However, when I apply highligth option in one column, and export to Excel, file doesn't show hightligth color with this information.

    I have installed and tested the Plugin. Works great, but now I need to do some testing without the Plugin. How do I uninstall it?

    the latest version required at least APEX 5.0

    But you can try to use an old version 2.12

    This was the last version for APEX 4.2.

      Firstly, I could not find the version 2.12 you mentioned to download.
      I cloned your plugin through Git and reverted to commit aa23763514e259fde70de75c9e2849cab6afe9ae ( v. 2.12 Small improvements).
      I tried to install plugin afterwards but still got the same error "File is not a valid Application Express plug-in export file."

      Secondly, I downloaded version 1.97 and installed the plugin into application. but IR download to excel is very slow. Page keeps running.
      It is taking around 40-50 minutes to download only 3000 records with 34 columns. My query normally runs very fast. Takes only couple of seconds to display 3000 records.

      Please suggest options for appropriate version or how to make it faster.

    I migrated oracle apex 5 to 20 version but one of option from interactive report unable to use (download in XLS format), could u plz share how i can enable download with xls?
